When choosing the name for his musical project, Dimitry wanted to communicate the essence of what electronic music truly means to him: the building of a true, deep, and visceral community, connected by and through sound.

Since 2012, Deep Tribe has been uniting musical minds with a signature brand of underground electronic music that speaks to the soul while commanding the body to move. Deep Tribe’s output is a careful blend of emotive deep house, tech house, bass, and techno. Spending the first 18 years of his life in Eastern Europe and shaped by 16 years in Chicago’s iconic house-music scene, Deep Tribe’s sound is a bold fusion of global vibes and deep, infectious house beats. With his tracks consistently making it to the Top 100 charts, Deep Tribe has earned his place as a rare standout in electronic music, seamlessly blending cultures and genres like no other.

Deep Tribe’s catalog is a testament to Dimitry’s eclectic, yet well-rounded, musical mind. Through original productions, remixes, podcasts, and the curating of his very own label, Counterfeit Fun Records, he has built a deeply engaged following composed of peers and fans alike.

2024 ended with Act Like It, a powerhouse collaboration between Deep Tribe and San Diego’s DJ Wayne Wright, released on Tiger Records, Germany. The track surged to #7 on Beatport’s Bass House chart and earned a place in Beatport’s Best Bass House of August 2024 collection, cementing Deep Tribe’s impact on the scene. Earlier that year, his tech-house anthem Need You took off, landing on major Spotify playlists and dominating dance floors. Emerging as a force in the underground club scene about two decades ago in Chicago, Deep Tribe is all about electrifying vibes and crowd-moving energy. Regularly spinning in Los Angeles, Las Vegas & Chicago, and holding down multiple California residencies, he continues to push boundaries with his high-energy sets.

In 2023, Deep Tribe’s tech-house hit “Uhh Yeah,” released on legendary LouLou Records, garnered widespread acclaim and substantial support from a host of industry professionals. The track received rave reviews and enthusiastic endorsements from prominent figures such as Shiba San, BlackVNeck, Nick Fanciulli, Miguel Bastida, Martin Ikin, and many others.

During the summer of 2022 Deep Tribe has brought new energy to his productions delivering heavy tech-house banger entitled – “Melt Me” released by No Definition Records (Switzerland) and gaining support from EDX, Croatia Squad and many others.

Deep Tribe’s post-pandemic debut, the bass-heavy house track “Take A Trip ft. Andrew Knopf” on Tiger Records (Germany), has made waves across multiple top 100 charts. This infectious gem, with its compelling groove and memorable lyrics, has a magnetic pull that keeps listeners dancing and singing along long after the music stops. Its undeniable appeal is highlighted by its impressive placement on Beatport’s Top 100 Bass House hits of 2020, affirming its status as a standout release in the genre.

Beatport has featured Deep Tribe on many occasions throughout the years. The heavy-hitting Reflections EP released in 2019 charted in the top 100, and combines a poetic vocal chant with howling bass and deep horns for a 100% pure techno dance vibe featuring voice and lyrics by Andrew Knopf and remixed by LA’s Sam Swindle.

Deep Tribe’s Now Move is a 6-remix album featuring talented producers from all over the globe. With DJs spinning from Italy to the U.K. and the U.S., broad diversity shines through these six unique spins on Deep Tribe’s classic hit.

One of Deep Tribe’s greatest successes is a rendition of “Holding Back.” The daydream-like, emotional remix will cut straight to your heart. The track’s success was galvanized by its broad exposure on industry outlets like DJMag, Dancing Astronaut, Magnetic Magazine, and 6AM.

While enjoying the popularity of “Holding Back,” Deep Tribe kept the beats alive by crafting a jam for the block parties as well as the clubs. “Street Love” mixes bizarre synths with funky drums and punchy vocals.

Deep Tribe’s powerful “Blue Moon” EP will take you on a psychedelic house trip powered by Los Angeles underground mainstays Aaron Jacobs, DaVoid, Sam Swindle, and Chief Jesta.

On the collaboration front, Deep Tribe has worked in the studio alongside, a roster of well-respected international artists, including Soul Trader (aka Funkagenda), Dustin Nantais, Brett Rubin, Saand, Lord Shango (aka Andrew Knopf) and Randy Seidman.

One of Deep Tribe’s most expressive collaborations was combined with an award nomination for Best Track of 2015! At the Los Angles House Music Awards Deep Tribe has put on a live performance of “Inside My Love,” sharing the stage with Violin Girl, aka Amanda Marks.

Also in 2015 Deep Tribe released the album “Do Your Thing,” featuring remixes from Chicago teammates RJ Pickens and Twitchin Skratch. Europe’s also in the mix courtesy of England’s Jack Carter and Italy’s Victor Vega.

Along with appearances as featured artist on house music blogs, Deep Tribe shares vibes with radio listeners. Deep Tribe has been on Frisky Radio, Ibiza Global Radio, Proton Radio, Dance Evolution Radio and Chicago’s Q101.1 FM.

As far as performances go, Deep Tribe’s thumping bass has been heard at mainstay festivals such as Lightning In A Bottle, Love Long Beach, Off the Grid, Cosmic Carnival, Dust V and Dust VI, Midnight At Eden, Out There, Teleport Art-Car festival and many more!
